How Does It Work?

There are 4 Encounters to walk you, or someone you invite to go with you, from a new relationship with Jesus to fulfilling the purpose you were created for. Each encounter consist of 4 session between 30-60 minutes each. The sessions are led by Jesus and designed to ignite faith and inspire action. No commitment is required—come as you are, when you’re ready. It would be ideal to take them in order, but definitely not necessary. Jesus will meet you wherever you are.

Who is the Encountering Jesus Series For?

Maybe you’ve been to church your whole life but have never truly met Jesus in a personal way. Maybe you’re curious about what a real relationship with Him could look like. Or maybe you’ve encountered Him before, but you’re longing to go deeper or share that joy with others.

We live in a world full of noise and distractions, making it easy to lose sight of what truly matters. The Encounter Jesus Series offers a simple way to experience Jesus personally, whether you’re just beginning to seek Him or you’re ready to deepen your faith.

This isn’t about religion or routine—it’s about relationship.

How are these encounters structured?

Each encounter has 4 sessions and each session is approximately 60 minutes. They can be done online or you can check the events for live Encounters near you. The series is designed to ignite faith, inspire action and faithfully guide you to meet Jesus personally and walk with Him daily, showing others the path to do the same. No commitment, come and go as you please.

Encountering Jesus: The Rescue

Explain Jesus Encounter 1 – The Rescue

Goal: Walk through a life-changing encounter with the living Jesus. Jesus is patient, go at your own pace. He is always calling. Will you answer the call and be transformed?

  • Session 1 : You Were Created For An Eternal Adventure With God.
  • Session 2: The Problem of Sin—Why We Need Rescued.
  • Session 3: Jesus’ Rescue Mission—You, Jesus, the Cross & Resurrection.
  • Session 4: What Will You Do After What Jesus Has Done? 
Explain Jesus Encounter 2 – Walking As A Disciple

Goal: Be Spirit inspired and empowered to begin to walk humbly with Jesus and live as Spirit-filled disciples within the Catholic Church.

  • Session 1: Picking Up Your Cross Daily—Walking with Jesus.
  • Session 2: Encountering All Of Jesus in the Mass and Eucharist
  • Session 3: Being Sanctified by the Holy Spirit Through the Sacraments
  • Session 4: Live as Part of the Body of Christ—Serving Him Through His Church

Goal: Share your relationship with Jesus simply and authentically through your daily life. Meet others where they are, giving them what you have…Jesus!

  • Session 1: Holy Spirit Listening—Hearing Others Through Christ’s Ears
  • Session 2: Seeing Their Path—An Adventure With You, Them & Jesus
  • Session 3: Sharing Your Stories—Jesus Encounters That Changed You. 
    • Week 4: Sharing The Story Of Jesus—Inviting Others To Know Him.

Goal: Discern the purpose God created you for. Embrace the spiritual gifts the Holy Spirit has provided to fulfill that purpose. Live your eternal adventure.
